The Space Congress 2023 will be held in Seville on the 9th and 10th of November.

It will serve as the grand finale of the European Space Week.

The Spanish Association of Technological Companies in Defence, Security, Aeronautics, and Space (TEDAE) has announced the hosting of the 2nd Space Congress, which will take place at the Fibes II Congress and Exhibition Centre in Seville on the 9th and 10th of November. The opening ceremony is scheduled for 2:30 PM on Thursday, the 9th and will feature a speech by Amparo Valcarce, the Secretary of State for Defence.

Throughout the Congress, various roundtable discussions and presentations will be held. Among the speakers are Miguel Belló, the Acting Director of the Spanish Space Agency; Josef Aschbacher, the Director-General of the Spanish Space Agency (ESA), and Rodrigo da Costa, the Chief Executive of the European Union Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA).

The closing ceremony will be delivered by Diana Morant, the Acting Minister of Science and Innovation.

The aim of this Congress is to showcase the capabilities of the sector in Spain and the achievements made. Furthermore, it will assess and analyze the outcomes of the EU Space Week in which the ESA, EC, and EUSPA will present the European position and the key lines of the European strategy for this decade.

Following the success of the first edition held in 2019, the Space Congress returns at a pivotal moment for the development of the national sector with the institutional and corporate support of 25 companies.
